(WGN-AM)- Wow. Cool. Awesome. Those are just some of the reactions to "The Ledges"- a new experience at Sears Tower. At 1,353 feet above ground, these glass boxes extend 4.3 feet from the skyscraper's 103rd floor, and give new meaning to living on the edge.
The inspiration for The Ledge came from smudges on Skydeck windows left behind from millions of visitors' foreheads- always wanting to get one step closer to a view of the city below.
The breath-taking view is not all that's new at the Skydeck. Visitors can also participate in interactive and educational attractions that highlight the City of Chicago.
