A NEW PROFESSORSHIP IN SCIENCE AND RELIGION...
...doesn't bother the Harvard faculty much so long as they keep it in the Divinity School. What bothers them more are new presidents who presume to speak truth to faculty power. But that story--more than this one from Harvard--is now finished and it may be presumed that the next president, when they appoint one, will be more docile, perhaps as much so as one might expect from the eventual occupant of the science and religion chair.
