<article_body>
Since the mid 1990's, the Northwestern Wildcats have been to a post-season bowl game six times, including one visit to the Rose Bowl. They have lost all six of those games, coming closest last season when they took Missouri into overtime but lost the Alamo Bowl 30-23. The team set a goal for this season: Win a bowl game. But first, they had to get there. As with any season, there were bumps along the way. But, the team finished with an 8-4 record, including a stunning victory over then 9-0 Iowa. And, on December 6 when bowl bids were announced, the Wildcats learned that they would be heading to Tampa Bay for a New Year's Day battle with Auburn in the Outback Bowl. Will they accomplish their goal of winning their first bowl game since the 1940's? We'll find out on January 1 and, if they do, it just may be the first item on our "best of 2010" list.</article_body>

    Paula Cooper was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri--the Queen City of the Ozarks. During a summer break between college semesters, Paula saw an advertisement by an airline offering positions as flight attendants. Thinking that she wanted to see more of the real word, she decided that was for her. After 13 years of flying the friendly (and not so friendly) skies, Paula decided there was more to life than serving Coke and Sprite.
