  21. Chorus Counts Down to International Competition

    On October 9th at 4 p.m., The Choral-Aires Chorus, a Sweet Adelines International medaling chorus, invites community members to enjoy pure barbershop music in a show titled, "Blast off to Houston." The show features the Chorus and three Regional qualifying quartets performing the show packages to be presented at the Sweet Adelines International Competition in Houston, October 17 - 22.  "Blast off to Houston" is at 4 p.m., Sunday, October 9, at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (149 West Brush Hill Road, Elmhurst). Tickets cost $8 for children ages 5 – 16 and seniors over 62, $12 for adults (ages 16 – 61), and kids under 5 are free. They may be purchased on the Chorus website at http://choral-aires.com, or by contacting Sherry Podgorsky at 847-648-3333 or sparker52@sbcglobal.net.
