    Medical experts will answer questions regarding leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and multiple myeloma from patients and their families from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at the Leukemia Research Foundation's Annual Town Hall Meeting. The meeting will be held at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Feinberg Pavilion - Conference Room A, 251 E. Huron in Chicago.

    The 10th Annual ArtFutura will be held Thursday May 31, 2012 at in the Ryan Family Atrium of Northwestern's Lurie Center (303 E. Superior) just two blocks from Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. The exhibit, a juried art exhibition benefitting the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Art Therapy program, will run May 31-June 7, with the opening gala May 31 at 5:30 PM.

  16. 5th Annual Concert for a Cure

    Concert for a Cure is the Paul Ruby Foundation's focal fundraiser each year and is celebrating its 5th anniversary on August 27th from 3pm-11pm.  Hosted at Tanna Farms Golf Club in Geneva, IL, this event has become an all day family friendly music festival that features some of the best bands and artists from the area, as well as nationally.  In addition to the music performances, the event held also features a kid-zone that has a face painting, a moon jump and other kid-friendly activities, silent and live auctions, and lots of great food. This popular event not only provides a fun, family oriented day, but also supports research efforts for Parkinson's disease, with all proceeds benefiting Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorder Center in Chicago.
