Chicago's WGN Radio 720 is the Voice of the Chicago Cubs, and the tradition continues in 2009. Seven time Sportscaster of the Year Pat Hughes and Cubs legend Ron Santo lead WGN's award-winning coverage of Cubs baseball. 2009 marks Pat's 14th season in the Cubs booth, and year 20 for Ron.

Cubs Central Pregame hosted by Judd Sirott begins 35 minutes before the first pitch. Cubs Central Pregame sets the stage for the day's matchup with The Lou Piniella Show, the Sportswire, player and coach interviews, and more. Then Pat & Ron bring you the action in their unique style. From Pat's dramatic descriptions and Ron's heartfelt commentary to the humorous detours the conversation frequently takes, their call is always enjoyable, no matter what happens on the field.
