As you heard last week when the news of the killing of Osama bin Laden pushed everything else to the back burner, our show schedule is always subject to change if something happens that we need to focus on. For many years, as our Monday night segued into the wee hours of Tuesday morning, we'd check redhotred.com to see who our friend Les Paul had been jamming with at the Iridium Jazz Club, in New York. Now and then Les would surprise us with a call after his show. Once again, tonight we'll take a few minutes and remember the amazing Les Paul and his legacy as we revisit part of an interview, a story, a laugh or, most importantly, his music and listen to "A Little More Les."

Well, tonight is the night we'd planned on treating you to an in-studio performance/CD release party for Chicago's very own: Katie Quick. Unfortunately, Katie has come down with a serious case of laryngitis. We'll absolutely have her on when she's better. However, we wanted you to see how a real pro handles something like this. Just take a look at this video Katie made to explain what's going on. This tells you all you need to know about why we love her talent, her creativity and her ability to take a case of bad timing and turn it into a unique promotional opportunity. She may have laryngitis now, but you're going to be hearing a lot from Katie Quick.
