Add / View comments | Discussion FAQI realize that the addition of Jonathan Brandmeier is necessitated by appealing to listeners younger than me to appeal to a demographic audience more coveted by advertisers.
The net result is that I will be listening to WGN less as a consequence.
I anticipate that I will be listening to John Williams, Sports Night, Lou Manfredini, Bill Moller and Rick Kogan. At all other times I will be listening to something else. I also listen to John's WCCO show as opposed to the blowhard Mike McConnell whenever I can.
A change in my husband's job required me to get up at 4:00 a.m. during the week. Listening to Steve and Johnnie made it more enjoyable.
Bill Leff seems like decent guy. I had to wonder that something was up when the schedule showed him on for the 5:00 to 5:30 slot this week.
Perhaps they need to bring Dan Fabian back to undo the Kevin Metheny and Randy Michaels damage.
i will miss them greatly! loved all the music & musicians they presented to the world. wgn is dumbing down. sad.
Does anyone have the ENTIRE LAST WEEK of Steve and Johnnie shows???. PLEASE HELP. At one point WGN had them streaming on their site, but now all they have is the last show. Thanks in advance for any help. This means a lot. You can e-mail me directly at tourmanager@aol.com
