It's a return visit from Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter/drummer/producer Tom Hambridge. We first met Tom about the time we first metSusan Tedeschi. He worked with Susan on some of her early releases and has since gone on to work withBuddy Guy, Delbert McClinton, BB King,Hank Williams Jr. and many more of the artists who make up the soundtrack of our lives.

Speaking of Susan Tedeschi, Susan and her husband, Derek Trucks, roll into town this Thursday night for a gig at the Chicago Theatre. So, tonight Derek joins us to share some tales of their new joint project, the Tedeschi Trucks Band, and what they've got planned for their Chicago appearance.
We'll find out more about the Illinois Warrior Summit, which is offering a free concert for 10,000 of our nation's troops and their families at Soldier Field Tuesday afternoon.

For many years, as our Monday night segued into the wee hours of Tuesday morning, we'd check redhotred.com to see who our friend Les Paul had been jamming with at the Iridium Jazz Club, inNew York. Now and then Les would surprise us with a call after his show.
