Do this on the new moon of the new year, which this year happens to be January 4th.
The question of "when" during the new moon is this done has been asked. If you google "Chinese law of abundance" many sites state that it's anytime during the 24 hours of the new moon. Some sites don't even mention a tie-in with the new moon. So, if you're reading this after January 4th relax and give it a shot. Hey, why not?
