I received an email from Skip asking for money. I decided to reply. Here's how it played out....

I'm sorry for this odd request because it might get to you too urgent but it's because of the situation of things right now,I'm stuck in London with family right now,we came down here on vacation ,we were robbed, worse of it was that our bags, cash and credit cards were stolen of us at GUN POINT, it's such a crazy experience for us, we need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive but the good thing is that we still have our passports but don't have enough money to get our flight ticket back home, please i need you to loan me some money, i will refund you as soon as I'm back home, i promise.

Skip, this is terrible!

How much are airlines tickets. How many in your family? How long have you been there - at the airport? Where are you staying? How much do you need and how can I get some money to you?

John

I'm so glad to hear back from you, I've been finding it difficult to make overseas calls from here. My phone's out of service, probably because I'm outside the states. It has really been embarrassing for me, I need some $$ as I have nothing on me now, was wondering if you could loan me $1500, I'll refund it to you as soon as I arrive home.

You can wire it to my name from a western union outlet around you. There's a Western Union money transfer service very close to Heath row Airport(that's where I'm flying from). I can receive it there within minutes right after you have wired the cash to my name. you can send it from any western union outlet around you. Here are the details needed to get it to me;

Skip Bellon 180 Liverpool avenue London. England

Absolutely, I know you're good for it. And the kids are missing school...Geez. Say, my wife reminded me that her cousin - remember he's a student at the University in London this semester - well, he could meet you. What's the nearest Starbucks? He can just hand you the money. You still have that scar, right?
