Habitat for Humanity - ReStore

This morning Lou talked to Kim Derisi from ReStore in Gary. When you are remodeling, don't throw any gently used items away and fill up those landfills, donate it to your local habitat. ReStore even has pick up available for large items and it is tax deductible.! For instance, if you are remodeling your kitchen, you could donate the cabinets, sink, countertop, refrigerator, and oven. We also accept furniture, doors, windows, lighting, and flooring. As long as the items are in working order, they will take it. Sales from our ReStore help us build houses. They are 75% off retail and open to the public Tuesday - Saturday 9-5.
