Founded in January 2010 by Mike and Mariann Stanton, the Danny Did Foundation is dedicated to the mission to prevent deaths caused by seizures.
The Danny Did Foundation acts as a catalyst in the communication vacuum that frequently exists between medical professionals and those afflicted by seizures. The DDF aggressively engages physicians and researchers in the field of neurology, meets with medical technology companies, and consults with epilepsy organizations.
The Danny Did Foundation holds as its main goals (1) the mainstreaming of medical devices for home-use that act as alarm systems for seizure activity and (2) the strengthening of communication between medical professionals and the families and loved ones of those afflicted by seizures.
