These unique birdhouses are built by the students at Brown's Foster Home in Rome, Maine. Brown's is a home for teenagers with disabilities including autism, birth defects and severe behavioral problems. They build hundreds of "one of a kind birdhouses" from recycled materials and antique lumber. They are numbered, dated, photographed and cataloged, making each a collectible piece of folk art.
