Bill Leff is a Chicago-born actor, writer, comic, and former roadie for The New Christy Minstrels. After graduating from Columbia College with a major in film, Bill studied improvisation at Chicago's Second City Theatre. He performed there and traveled with the improv group, Joint Void, before making the switch to stand-up comedy, which he performed nationwide for ten years, headlining at top clubs and winning several prestigious comedy competitions.

Along the way Bill has appeared on several television shows, most notably logging a series of visits to A&E's Evening at the Improv, Fox's Comedy Break, and MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour. In Chicago Bill was a regular on WLS television's 190 North, and WBBM television's The Magic Door. He can be seen in a featured role in the films: Major League and Major League 2, and his voice can be heard in countless commercials. Well, countless might be stretching it. Alright, eleven.

Bill is happily married to Teri, an actress. They have twin daughters, Kiley and Reese, who are 12 and 12, respectively, and who may soon become teenagers, against their parents' wishes.
