(WGN-AM)- The bank robber dubbed "Bullet Proof Bandit" has struck again.
The robbery occurred Wednesday at the Edens Bank, 5256 Dempster, Skokie, around 9:30 A.M. A lone white male, armed with a gun, walked into the bank and announced a robbery. After stealing an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the bank on foot.
The man is described as approximately 40 years old, 6'2, slim build, with a white handkerchief covering the lower portion of his face.
The robber has been given the moniker "Bullet Proof Bandit" due to the fact that he is believed to be wearing a ballistic vest during these robberies. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Chicago Office of the FBI is asking anyone with any information regarding this or any of the other robberies, to please contact 312-421-6700.
