Kim Gordon

Freelance reporter Kim Gordon is a Kentucky native. Kim and her family moved to Chicago in the summer of 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville and earned her degree in Marketing.

Kim's career in radio began in 1995 when she decided to return to work after her youngest son went to school. Kim interned at WHAS radio in Louisville for two years before being hired as an anchor and reporter. Kim also anchored newscasts for WLAP radio in Lexington, KY and the Kentucky News Network.

Since coming to WGN radio in 2006 Kim has covered a variety of stories from the Bears NFC championship win to winter weather and the clean up after the August storms. Kim and her husband Stuart live with their three sons, Seth, Jeremy and Andrew in Lake County.
