Marni Yang phone call, winter 2009 (UNEDITED: CONTAINS ADULT LANGUAGE.)
In tapes released to the media, Marni Yang describes, in a low whisper, the chilling story of exactly what happened when she pulled the trigger time and time again, killing Rhoni Reuter. Over chocolate ice cream and tea at a Denny's Restaurant in Arlington Heights, Yang can be heard telling her friend Christi Pashen about what she had done. Paschen wore a wire tap for two nights. She sat across the table from Yang as the two discussed how the defendant shot and killed Shaun Gayle's pregnant girlfriend in Deerfield a year and a half earlier. At this point, after hearing these excerpts, no one, no one, no one, can deny that Marni Yang killed Rhoni Reuter. Even her own family members have to know she is a killer. Her defense argued that there were no finger prints of hers at the scene and no one saw her. Well, hello, how could there have been. She herself said she left no prints and was wearing a disguise (black teenager).
