(Springfield, IL) -- A voter hotline has been setup for those who have questions or complaints about tomorrow's election. Rupert Borgsmiller, Director of the State Board of Elections, says the hotline will help keep local election authorities in check.

The Board will be fielding calls on the voter hotline from 5:00 in the morning until 10:00 at night in Springfield and from 6:00 in the morning until 8:00 at night in Chicago. Voters are encouraged to call in any instances of voter intimidation or if they have trouble casting their vote. Downstate voters should call 217-782-4141 and Chicago voters should call 312-263-7367.

Borgsmiller says the hotline is there to help voters, but also to provide expert advice to judges at local election authorities.
